The Systems and Computing Engineering Department at Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá Colombia seeks qualified candidates for tenure track positions at the Assistant Professor level. An earned Ph.D. in Computer Science or related disciplines is required. Candidates should have a record of exceptional research in their early careers: a proven record of excellence in research: publications, participation and collaboration in funded research, and professional service. Faculty duties include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, research, and supervision of student research. Faculty members are also responsible for developing or expanding our high-quality research within the department’s research groups.

The successful applicant is expected to have worked in software architecture, solution architecture or enterprise architecture projects, both at research and industry levels.
Assistant professor of Formal Methods
We are seeking candidates to fill an assistant professor position to promote the Formal Methods group in the fields of teaching, research and consulting.
Assistant professor of Information Systems
We are looking for candidates with deep knowledge of applying IT to enterprises.

The department graduate programs constitute the basis of research and consulting opportunities for its faculty. The department’s labs support its professors’ research endeavors.
