All faculty with master's degree and 84,8% with Ph.D, they are committed to use methodologies of teaching and learning. The level of our faculty is the highest among computer programs in Colombia.

Publications
The publications are the result of research and consultancy work of our Department. These activities are conducted jointly with faculty from other departments of the University de los Andes, faculty from local and international universities, and experts from the productive sector. In order to improve research activities, faculty is part of three research groups: COMIT, IMAGINE and TICSw. Below is the number of publications by each group in 2013.
