Charla Creating Map Books with Data Driven Pages

Data Driven pages, new in ArcGIS 10.0, is ESRI’s tool for creating map books. With Data Driven pages, the user can create a series of map pages based on data within the map; usually a polygon grid or a set of polygons along a linear feature. This presentation will explain the commands and settings needed to create map books and will demonstrate how to create map books with different examples. The presentation will also show how to use dynamic text for page numbering and it time permits, some ArcPy mapping commands.
